Why do not we talk of ‘communication ecology’?
Such intriguing question may raise allot of argumentation and
interpolation. Yet, it is quite interesting to ask why not ‘communication ecology’? It has I think a simple reason why there is no attempt to study the ecology of communication. It is because there is no one that can articulately, elaborately, and exhaustively explain the nature of communication. Yes, although we can about what is communication, yet, to talk about something of a one-dimensional aspect of communication can be hardly expressed and theorized. The more one deals with the concept of communication, the more complexities and hardships eroded in one’s intellectual capability.
Moreover, communication though can be an enticing to study with, it is
not yet in any ways prepared to be studied its ecological side. Although information are abundant to support such topic, yet, the time is not yet comes to talk about it, inevitably, whatever are the processes played within communication it cannot still grasped the ecological dimension of it.
